We offer kloofing, rock hopping, bum sliding, pool crawling, hiking, river traversing, cliff jumping......it goes on and on!.

Experience rock hopping, bum sliding, pool crawling, hiking, river traversing and cliff jumping. You cannot deny yourself this opportunity to experience the outdoors with all your senses:
SEE beautiful scenery.
SMELL different plants and flowers.
FEEL the warmth of the sun and the chill of the water.
TOUCH rock polished by the flow of water over thousands of years.

TASTE the adventure of a lifetime.

Duration: 2 hours, cold beverages included.

Kloofing takes place in the upper part of the Sabie river where the gradient is quite steep and the river is narrow due to the steep sides of the gorge. You are in the water the whole time, swimming through the pools, exploring potholes and jumping of a variety of rocks and cliffs into the river.

One of the highlights of the trip is an optional 8 meter jump from a cliff into a deep pool next to a thundering waterfall. A degree of fitness is needed as you need to scamper over slippery rocks and walk out of the gorge at the end of the trip. Each trip is accompanied by well trained swift water guides who ensure the trip is safe and fun.

Important - You have to be able to swim to enjoy this experience.

Important - You have to be able to swim to enjoy this experience.

To ensure a lasting memory we take video or still camera footage on request.

Everything you wear will get wet as you spend most of the time in the water. Wear a costume with a T-shirt for extra sun protection.

Wear strap on sandals or soft sneakers that can get wet - you can go bare feet but the hike out of the gorge is quite tough on bare feet.

You can wear a cap underneath your helmet for extra sun protection.

Apply enough water-resistant sunscreen an hour before the trip.
