Our Advertising Mission
Activityzone.co.za undertakes to provide a professional and effective online advertising service to its clients for
the duration of the client’s subscription.

Activityzone.co.za will make every reasonable effort to advertise and promote its clients offerings
(events / activities / services) in a reliable, professional and effective manner in order to secure for its clients
maximum cross-market exposure at an affordable price.

This section outlines the terms and conditions under which Activityzone.co.za provides this online advertising service.

General
Activityzone.co.za reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting the updated
terms and conditions. Please review our terms and conditions regularly for updates.

These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions governing usage of the
Activityzone.co.za website. Please refer to the terms and conditions found under ‘T’s and C’s’ on the website.

By subscribing to our online advertising service you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.

Advertisers listed on the Activityzone.co.za website may have terms and conditions which conflict with the terms and
conditions contained herein. Activityzone.co.za will not be bound by any terms and conditions not appearing herein
or on the ‘T’s & C’s’ web page on the Activityzone.co.za website.

Subscription and Payment
Your advertising subscription will run for a 6 or 12 month period and will commence on the 1st of the month following
the month when you signed-up with Activityzone.co.za.

Subscriptions must be paid for in advance by means of an internet transfer or direct deposit into the Activityzone.co.za
business account held at Standard Bank.

Your company’s details will be loaded onto the Activityzone.co.za website only after receipt of the full payment.
Payments received are strictly non-refundable.

Subscription rates are subject to change without prior notice. However existing subscriptions will not be affected by
any rate changes.

Client Obligation
In order for your services/events to be published and displayed on the Activityzone.co.za website we require the
following from you:

• Company name and location
• Full contact details
• Your website’s URL
• Description of the activities you have on offer (200 – 500 words)
• 10 photographs
• What to know and what to do
• Hyperlink with directions

You agree to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Actvityzone.co.za all materials and information
required to launch your web pages.

If you have an existing website and the site contains the information we require the Activityzone.co.za team will with
your consent re-use the information from your website.

An effective advertising service cannot be provided by Activityzone.co.za if the information we require is not made
available and we reserve the right to withhold publication and display of your web pages until all the required
information has been obtained.

Updating Client Details
It is the responsibility of the client to advise the Activityzone.co.za team of any changes to contact and/or other details
displayed on the Activityzone.co.za website.

Changes to contact details and existing links will be done free of charge. If the client requires significant changes to the
advertised pages or wishes to add new events/activities a fee of R350.00 (two hundred and fifty rand) will be charged to
cover the administrative overhead.

Special Deals
Clients may advertise special deals on the Activityzone.co.za website and this is encouraged by the
Activityzone.co.za team.

The first special deal offered during the subscription period will be added to the ‘Special Deals’ page on the
Activityzone.co.za website free of charge. Further special offers will be added to the website at an additional cost of
R250.00 (two hundred and fifty rand) each.

Competition
From time to time competitions will be made available on the Activityzone.co.za website. The competitions may be
sponsored by clients or by Activityzone.co.za. Activityzone.co.za will contact the client prior to sponsoring a competition.

Should the client sponsor a competition, all relevant details must be emailed to theo@activityzone.co.za who will
contact the client to confirm and verify the information prior publication.

Right of refusal
Activityzone.co.za reserves the right to reject marketing material we believe are inappropriate for the audience of the
Activityzone.co.za website. We reserve the right to reject marketing material which does not comply with our technical
standards and specification (see ‘Advertise’ section on the Activityzone.co.za website for technical requirement details).

Indemnity
Activityzone.co.za assumes that you have the right to represent the company you want us to advertise and that you
have the right to publish and display the content, make use of the company logo and other branding features.

Activityzone.co.za cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials or information
submitted by you.

You agree to indemnify Activityzone.co.za against any expense, liability, loss or claim that results from any claims
arising out of online publication and display of your advertisement be that the full-page advert, banner ad or any other
form of advertising service provided to you by Activityzone.co.za.

Cancellation notice
Send us cancellation notices in writing to cancel@activityzone.co.za. No refund is payable in case of a cancellation.

Limitation Liability
Activityzone.co.za will not be liable for delays in publishing, delivery, non-delivery, or other errors as a result of events
beyond our control including Acts-of-God, actions by any government entity, fire, flood, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes,
labour or material shortage, transportation interruption, Internet or communications failure.

Withdrawal of advertisement
Activityzone.co.za reserves the right to withdraw your advertisement and any references made to your company from
our website in the event of non-payment. Advertisement will be reinstated once payment has been received in full.

Governing Law
The terms, conditions and disclaimers will be exclusively governed by and construed by the laws of South Africa
whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute save that we have the right, at our sole discretion,
to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
