TROUT FISHING IN UNIONDALE, WESTERN CAPE | OUTENIQUA TROUT LODGE

We are situated on the scenic Prince Alfred pass only 55km from Knysna

Break away from the mainstream and find that perfect spot. Outeniqua Trout Lodge

is a delightful refuge for those who need to escape from the world- the perfect place

to catch your breath and stay for a while.

We offer fly-fishing in our current 2 rivers & 3 soil dams. Both are stocked with

rainbow & brown trout. Fly-fishing is strictly Catch & release, barbless hooks.

We pride ourselves in being ‘green’; providing our own electricity and water from

natural resources, as well as effluent treatment, making us independent from the

national power grid and other municipal services. Our main farming activity is the

growing of rainbow and brown trout and organic pecan nuts.
