HERMANUS WHALE CRUISES offer you a "tail" you can tell others ... The experience of boat-based whale watching in Hermanus, Heart of the South African Whale Coast.

We also offer Eco-Tours, a sight-seeing experience where you can interact with dolphins, seals, clawless otters and a variety of sea bird life, as well as Cultural Tours where you meet the local people and learn more of their history, culture and environment.

The skippers and guides – all of them registered SATOUR guides – are from the local community of Hawston, and their combined experience enables them to provide the visitor with a vast amount of local information, especially in the area of boat based whale watching. Their knowledge of local weather and sea conditions is considerable. The whale watching boat which they operate is named "Whale Cruiser".

The Hermanus Whale Cruises:
Trips depart from the New Harbour in Hermanus. They last two hours and cost R550 per adult and R200 for children 12 and under.

We like passengers to arrive 15 minutes before departure at our office in the New Harbour for a 10 minute talk on the whales. Please click here to see map.
